The economy has vaulted into first place in the list of hot election topics. I believe the Iraq War has pretty much had a lock on that, up until now. Or health care. That’s what $3.00/gallon gas will do for ya’!
A new CNN poll reports that the economy is the “number-one issue on the minds of Americans.” 82 percent said the economy will be extremely or very important to their vote for president, two points ahead of those who cited the Iraq war.
