New Orleans. I think it’s safe to say it will never be what it was. Oh, the touristy parts will remain touristy. But, I’m afraid, the heart and soul of the city has been lost. Or, perhaps, killed off. And we all are a bit guilty. For not paying attention. For moving on as though everything was okay.
