Mitt Romney claimed “I saw my father march with Martin Luther King”. Except it isn’t true. It never happened. there is no lie…I can’t believe how much of an issue this is. It’s clear if you look at the entire quote in context instead of that one sentence then you would undoubtedly determine that it was a figurative recolection. It did happen, Mitt’s father told Mitt and his brother about it. There is also as you stated toward the end of this very unfair excerpt that a non fiction book was written, that documented this happened. Also there are independent eye wittness accounts. It amazes me how fast people judge before learning if the facts are true. Please take a look at the information backing up Mitt Romney’s claim that his dad DID march with Martin Luther King.
