Whew! What an exhausting day. Just stuff around the house, but I didn’t sit down more than a few minutes all day. But, a lot of laundry is done, and we had some great “comfort food” for dinner – corned beef with cabbage and carrot and those homestyle frozen noodles. Closest thing to what my grandmother used to make that I’ve found. Thank you, Reame’s Frozen Egg Noodles, for providing a link to my childhood.

The Christmas tree is now history, snoozing on its side, next to the street, waiting to be claimed by the big truck that comes by tomorrow or Tuesday.

So, I’ve had precious little time to peruse the blogs. And, I’m tired. I did watch Hillary Clinton on Meet the Press today. I thought it was kind of funny how she refused to let Tim Russert overwhelm her when she was trying to make a point. The good folks at Crooks and Liars have a clip from the program:

Having sat through the entirety of Meet The Press this morning, the sit down at the table attempt at gotcha from Tim Russert fell flat. And Sen. Hilary Clinton turned those tables back at him over and over again in a pivot and attack performance that left Russert looking sullen and deflated [...]
