Maybe, VERY interesting.

“I Now Believe the Tape Exists”

Roger Stone, respected, hated, and always controversial Republican political knife fighter and commentator for Fox News, has given new credence to Larry Johnson’s reporting of a video of Michelle Obama making racist comments against whites. Is Roger Stone to be believed? Obamabots, bewildered by their devastating streak of losses but hopeful of the delegate stealing yesterday, will [...]

Not Surprised

Not surprised at all.

Drivers putting less gas in tank, then running out

Brent Saba had just dropped a church group off at Philadelphia International Airport on Sunday morning and was heading north on Interstate 95 when it happened: His 15-passenger van ran out of gas. Saba, a 24-year-old church pastor, made it to the shoulder just [...]

Not exactly a warm welcome…

Furman University protests Bush speech: We Object!

Well, well, well, a Bush protest at Furman University. And he talks about of all things—redemption. WaPo: Delivering the final commencement address of his tenure, President Bush told supporters and protesters at Furman University here Saturday that he was far from “a model citizen” when he left college but [...]

The Clinton Legacy

They’re at it again. Complaining again about something in a magazine. REALLY complaining.

Clintons freak out over Vanity Fair article about Bill

Ben Smith has the Clintons’ entire 2,000 word memo in response to Vanity Fair’s new profile of Bill Clinton. Before I get to finish the Vanity Fair piece, and start the Clinton memo, one thing struck me as odd. The Clintons are furious [...]

Didn’t See THAT Coming!

June 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Whew! Quite the storm just blew through here. I guess they had a slight chance  in the forecast, but I don’t think anyone was expecting to see the trees practically bend to the ground!

After Saturday’s big dem meeting, it seems more and more people are looking for Clinton to step aside – even though she won Puerto Rico today. She’s hanging in there, though:

Clinton: No Nominee On Tuesday

ABC News’ Eloise Harper reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., thanked Puerto Ricans Sunday night for helping her to victory on the island where she spent five days campaigning, saying “Te quiero Puerto Rico!” Her real message, however, was to the undecided superdelegates who Clinton hopes will veer her way to salvage her campaign. Clinton’s main argument is that [...]

As for President Bush, he’s not getting much respect.

President Bush’s name gets no applause at South Carolina GOP convention.

At the South Carolina state GOP convention today, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) “used his remarks to embrace President Bush, just hours before he was to meet Bush at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.” But when Graham first mentioned Bush’s name, the GOP crowd stayed silent, refusing to applaud the President: At his first mention of Bush’s visit, Graham [...]

The Democratic Decision

June 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Hey, it’s Sunday! Welcome! Dems spent Saturday trying to figure out Michigan and Florida. They came up with a “solution”, but it sure ain’t making everybody happy. Each delegate gets 1/2 vote. And, they ordered some strange movement among uncommitted delegates.

The denouement of a lengthy and difficult process

For quite some time, as the number of remaining primaries dwindled to single digits, the Clinton campaign continued to look at the circle around May 31 on the calendar. It was the meeting of the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee that offered at least some hope that the broader dynamic of the Democratic race could [...]
