Horrible weather continues to pound my native Iowa. I awoke today to the news that four teens were killed when a tornado ripped through a Boy Scout Ranch along the western border. Dozens injured, too. Then, just a couple of hours later, the word that flood waters had breeched levees in Cedar Rapids and floodwaters are rising in Iowa City. That’s where my TV career began. It is surreal to see the live reports from places I know so well, places that have never been under water. If you care to see the latest, you’ll find a link to live coverage at KCRG’s website. That’s my old employer and it’s good to see them doing a great job.
UPDATE: I’m having trouble with the KCRG live link. Iowa City radio station, KCJJ, is streaming live here and they have video of the KCRG feed online, too.
