About The Krile Files

Welcome! This is the blog of a former TV news anchor who is now far removed from that business, but still loves to keep track of what’s important in the world. This blog is designed to aggregate posts that I feel are important and/or interesting. I’m not going to bury you in lengthy diatribes; I simply want to give you a spot you can bookmark and return to for a daily look at information to get you talking. And, yes, the photo at the top of the page is mine and it does show what Arkansas is like! In fact, it shows the trees around a small lake in a subdivision near us. Nice, huh?  Come on down! We’re friendly folks!

  3. Hey Doug! Love your blog and I’ve always been a huge fan of yours! I remember you from the TV days and this is a great blog you’re doing here. Keep up the great work!

  4. Hey, Doug, it’s really good to see you are doing well. I was your pastor at Shueyville UMC for a time. From what I’ve read, you’ve already left quite a legacy. Me, I live in southern MO along the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. You wouldn’t believe the twists and turns my life has taken. Most folks tell me I need to write a book but as you may rmember, I’m not much of a writer. Retired and battling cancer these days and playing with the grandkids. Good to hear of you. Tell Judy hi.
